JABAR - The police will carry out traffic engineering (traffic) to anticipate vehicle density during the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays at the Pangandaran Beach tourist route, Pangandaran Regency, West Java (West Java).

Asep explained that traffic engineering will be implemented starting from the main gate of the Pangandaran Beach entrance until the Bulak Laut T-junction turns left, then at the T-junction Hotel Arnawa can be straight and turn right towards the Century Hotel.

However, at the T-junction of the Century Hotel, he said, vehicles cannot turn left, only allowed to turn right or one direction. Meanwhile, at Simpang Ajo, vehicles from Simpang Matahari and Pasar Wisata can turn right or straight to Jalan Pengadilan Lama. Likewise at the intersection of the East Coast Polairud Office, you can turn left and right.

Regarding trucks and buses, said Asep, they will be directed to park in the parking bag of the Katapang Doyong area and the Tourism Market.

Meanwhile, arterial routes ranging from the Pancimas Intersection, Kalipucang to the Pangandaran Fish Monument Roundabout will be blocked if there is a traffic density of vehicles.

Furthermore, in the Batukaras Beach tourist area and Green focus tourism, an integrated description team will be prepared to overcome the congestion of vehicle flow on the route.

Asep said that the traffic engineering plan was based on a coordination meeting with the Pangandaran Regency Government regarding the holiday season at the end of 2023.
