YOGYAKARTA Profile Major Teddy adjutant Prabowo is interesting to discuss. Major Teddy Indra Wijaya is a TNI officer who is now an aide to Defense Minister Pranowo Subianto. Teddy himself graduated from Taruna Nusantara High School, Magelang, Central Java. After studying at Taruna High School he continued his military education at the Military Academy (Akmil) and successfully graduated in 2011.

His career in the Indonesian military was quite smooth. Initially, he was the first officer of the Red Beret Corps. However, in 2014 when he was still a Lieutenant One (Lettu) he was selected to be President Jokowi's assistant aide in the early period of his leadership, namely 2014 to 2019.

After his tenure as an aide was completed, Teddy resumed his military education in the United States (US) and the results were quite proud. Teddy successfully received the Tab Ranger which indicated he passed the qualification to become an elite army of the United States Army.

Please note that Ranger School is a school program that elected military soldiers can follow. The school has a very strict selection system while having a fairly low graduation rate.

Not only that, Teddy also won the title of the best graduate of the US Army Infantry School in Fort Benning, United States. He managed to get the title of International Honor Graduate from 185 other student officers.

Upon his return from the United States, Teddy, who now has the rank of Major, was appointed as aide to Prabowo Subianto (2020) who served as Minister of Defense in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet led by President Joko Widodo.

As is known, Major Teddy was seen in the inaugural debate of the presidential candidate for the 2024 General Election. In fact, he was caught on camera sitting in the ranks of supporters of the Prabowo-Gibran presidential and vice presidential candidates. In the circulating picture, he appears to be wearing the same uniform as other supporters.

Major Teddy's participation on that occasion attracted public attention considering that the military institution TNI/Polri must be neutral in elections. On the other hand, Major Teddy is currently still active as a TNI soldier.

Related to this, Kapuspen TNI, Rear Admiral TNI Julius Widjojono explained that Teddy's presence in the KPU presidential candidate debate did not represent the TNI institution and was carried out for personal gain.

"He is only an aide who carries out his duties to participate in the activities of the Minister of Defense. He does not represent the TNI institution or personal interests," explained Kapuspen TNI Rear Admiral TNI Julius Widjojono at TNI Cilangkap Headquarters, East Jakarta, Monday 18 December.

"Aides are always attached to the activities of the Minister of Defense, the person concerned is only carrying out his duties as an aide, nothing more," he continued.

Responding to this, the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) will conduct a study on the presence of Major Teddy Indra Wijaya in the inaugural debate for the 2024 presidential election which will be held at the KPU Building, Jakarta.

"Yes, that's why it must be studied first, this as an aide, whether it is permissible or what, we will review it first," said Bawaslu Chairman Rahmat Bagja after the DKPP SIETICS Socialization in Jakarta, Monday.
