BOGOR - The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) reported that 102 residents of Bogor Regency were displaced due to the impact of the 4.6 magnitude (M) earthquake centered in Sukabumi Regency, West Java (West Java).
Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center Abdul Muhari said the refugees chose to flee to a safer place, including the tents provided by the Bogor Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in Purasari Village and Purwabakti Village, as well as to relatives' homes.
"The BNPB Operations Control Center (Pusdalops) reported that on Friday (December 15) at 10.25 WIB there were 285 Heads of Families (KK) or 956 residents of Bogor Regency affected by the earthquake," he said in his statement, quoted Friday, December 15.
Temporary rapid assessment stated that there was infrastructure damage in the Bogor Regency area, with details of two heavily damaged Umahs, 32 moderately damaged houses, 237 lightly damaged houses and six damage to six prayer rooms.
"The earthquake also caused 256 families or 829 residents of Sukabumi Regency to be affected. Damage to infrastructure and public facilities was also reported to have occurred in the area, such as three houses were heavily damaged, 30 houses were moderately damaged, 151 houses were lightly damaged, two public facilities, and there were two roads that had experienced cracks," said Abdul Muhari.
