After The Debate, Anies Campaigned For Pekanbaru And Cak Imin Umrah

JAKARTA - Presidential candidate (candidate) number 1 Anies Baswedan is scheduled to campaign in Pekanbaru, Riau Province, while vice presidential candidate Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin departs for Umrah worship, on the 16th day of the 2024 Presidential Election campaign (Pilpres).The Deputy for Media and Communication of the AMIN National Team in an official statement received quoted by ANTARA, stated that Anies' campaign schedule on Wednesday, December 13, took place in Pekanbaru City. On his visit to Pekanbaru City, Anies is scheduled to visit the Kumuh Village area which is on Jalan Budi Agung, Sah District, Pekanbaru City, and arrives at the location of the event at 10.00 WIB. After the first visit was completed, then Anies at 12.00 WIB was scheduled to meet Riau figures and lunch at RM Khas Melayu. Furthermore, Anies will hold a limited meeting with the community as well as his supporters at the Pekanbaru Sports Hall, at around 13.10 WIB. The same information states that, after the meeting with the community was completed, Anies continued his campaign at 15.00 WIB, where the presidential candidate number 1 was scheduled to follow the "Desak Anies" program organized at Sail Market, Pekanbaru City, and it also closed the Anies trip. Meanwhile, Deputy General Treasurer of the PKB DPP Bambang Susanto said that on the 16th day of the campaign period, the vice presidential candidate Muhaimin Iskandar who was usually familiarly called Cak Imin would carry out Umrah worship until December 17, 2023. "This morning (Cak Imin) left for the Holy Land to carry out Umrah worship," he said.

The Indonesian KPU has appointed three pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates as participants in the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar with serial number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD number 3. KPU has also set a campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, then the voting schedule on February 14, 2024.
