JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) scheduled an examination of the Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Nurdin Halid today, Tuesday, December 12. He was examined as a witness to allegations of gratification and money laundering (TPPU) that ensnared the inactive Supreme Court Judge Gazalba Saleh. "The examination took place at the KPK's Red and White Building," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, December 12. Ali has not been detailed about the investigation. However, information from the source stated that there was a suspicion that Nurdin had handled the case through Gazalba Saleh. The KPK again named Gazalba as a suspect related to the alleged acceptance of gratuities and money laundering. This is the second time that he had an orange camp after being acquitted in a pretrial at the South Jakarta District Court (PN). In this case, Gazalba is suspected of receiving gifts since 2018 and is related to the management of several cases within the Supreme Court (MA). Among other things, an appeal was filed by the former Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Edhy Prabowo.
