JAKARTA - The Gorontalo Police are ready to maintain a security situation during the 2024 Christmas and New Year celebrations throughout the Gorontalo Province. Gorontalo Police Chief Inspector General Angesta Romano Yoyol said, in facing these two moments, his party had prepared personnel who would be deployed in all Christian places of worship, tourist attractions to other public facilities where the community gathers. "We have prepared personnel to secure the celebration of Nataru (Christmas and New Year) 2023 to 2024 throughout the Gorontalo Province," he said in Gorontalo, Antara, Monday, December 11. The locations that are the concentration of security during the 2024 Christmas and New Year celebrations include churches, tourist attractions, hotels, port areas and terminals. Regarding the safety and comfort of the police community, they have appealed to hotels to first submit notifications or take care of licensing activities to the local police.
