JAKARTA - In addition to securing RZ (29) who molested a 3-year-old boy at the East Jakarta Condet, investigators from the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit also examined the victim's aunt with the initials S as an eye witness to the incident.

The victim's aunt with the initials S was examined for recording a video during the incident of her boyfriend's abuse at a rented house in the Condet area, East Jakarta.

"The victim's antenna recorded that he intended that if something happened, he would not be blamed, so he had the evidence," said Head of PPA of the East Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Sri Yatmini to reporters, Monday, December 11.

Iptu Sri explained, the victim's aunt was only appointed as a witness because she was still a minor. The victim's aunt was entrusted by victim RA by her mother who works abroad as an Indonesian Migrant Worker (PMI).

"For the victim's mother as a TKW abroad. The suspect, the victim's aunt and the victim lived in the rented house around the beginning of November. The persecution continues," he said.

As a result of his actions, suspect RZ was charged with violence against children with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years.

Members of the Women and Children Service Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Metro Police managed to arrest the perpetrators of the abuse of a 3-year-old boy until his neck was broken in the Kramat Jati area, East Jakarta, Monday, December 11.

The Head of PPA for the East Jakarta Metro Police, Iptu Sri Yatmini, confirmed the arrest of the perpetrator of the persecution by his members in the rented perpetrator. Currently, the perpetrator is already in the East Jakarta Metro Police detention cell.

"The suspect with the initials RZ (29) has been arrested and detained by the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA unit. The suspect has been repeated (persecuting) since early November 2023," said Iptu Sri to reporters, Monday, December 11, afternoon.

Iptu Sri also confirmed the physical violence against the victim's child with the initials RA (3). The suspect RZ is the girlfriend of the victim's child's aunt RA.
