Elderly Japanese Citizen Dies With His Neck Entangled In A Hotel In The Barito Area, Police Have Not Concluded The Cause Of Death

JAKARTA - A Japanese woman was found dead with her neck entangled in a rope, at a hotel in the Barito area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

Kebayoran Baru Police Chief, AKBP Agung Wibowo confirmed the incident. He said that the victim had the initials ON, aged 66 years. And the incident occurred on Sunday, December 10.

"Yes, but it's not a discovery, so we got a report from Pertamina hospital. We'll check at the hospital," Wibowo said when confirmed, Monday, December 11.

Although the victim was found in a rope-entangled neck, Wibowo has not been able to conclude the cause of death.

"Yes, that's right (there is a neck entanglement wound). It can't be concluded yet) I don't dare to guess, it's still in the process of being investigated," he said.

He revealed that at the time of the incident the victim's husband was taking medicine for his wife.

"Nothing, her husband is taking medicine. The depression drug experienced by the victim. Her husband is also a Japanese citizen," he said.

The victim is currently undergoing an autopsy at Fatmawati Hospital, South Jakarta to determine the cause of death from Japan.

"The possibility is still being autopsied at Fatmawati Hospital," he said.
