Inaugurated By Jokowi, Martinus Hukom Officially Becomes Head Of BNN

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated Inspector General Martinus Hukom as Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) replacing Komjen Petrus R Golose who entered retirement. The inauguration was carried out at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday, December 8 morning, in accordance with Presidential Decree Number Presidential Decree Number 182/TPA of 2023 concerning Dismissal and Appointment of Positions at BNN. "By God I promise that I will be loyal and obedient to the 1945 Constitution and will carry out all laws and regulations as straight as possible for the sake of dharma my service to the nation and state," said Martinus saying the oath guided by President Jokowi. Inspector General Marthinus was appointed as Head of BNN to replace Komjen Pol Petrus R Golose who entered retirement age on December 1, 2023.

Martinus Hukom was previously the Head of Special Detachment 88. He has served since May 1, 2020.Martinus Hukom is one of the National Police officers who carried out operations to arrest Bali terrorist Ali Imron.
