PPAPP Service Provides Assistance To Mothers Of Four Children Who Died In Jagakarsa

JAKARTA - The case of the death of 4 children allegedly killed by their father in Kebagusan, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta has attracted the attention of many parties. Moreover, until now the cause of death of the victim is not yet known.

Head of the Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Service, Mochamad Miftahullloh Tamar, said that his party would provide assistance to Devnisa Putri, the mother of the children who died. Moreover, Devnisa was also a victim of domestic violence, which her husband, Panca, allegedly committed.

"We also have a safe house. But later we will see again as needed. But from our psychological team, both from the PPAPP Service and also from the health office, there will be those who will accompany them," Tamar told reporters, December 7.

Tamar explained that her party had met with Devnisa Putri, the wife of the perpetrator or the mother of the 4 children who died.

However, he admitted that he could not talk much about the conditions and actions that would be taken because he was still waiting for the medical team's assessment.

"So indeed we can't give much statement before there is an assessment result," he said.

Tamar also underlined the attitude of neighbors when they saw acts of domestic violence. Moreover, the victim suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized.

"First of course, there is our concern for neighbors, maybe we can strengthen it again, so that after all, caring for neighbors is very important. In a sense, if something is possible that might happen to our other neighbors, we can report it to the authorities. For example, domestic violence, we also have a complaint center, P3A, it will be maximized, optimized," he concluded.
