Babel Police Check Prices And Stocks Of Basic Materials A Number Of Warehouses

PANGKALPINANG - Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police have checked prices and stocks of several types of staple food in a number of warehouses in Pangkalpinang City.

"In today's monitoring, we together with the Head of Bulog Bangka have visited several warehouses for rice distributors and other staples as well as important items to ensure the availability of goods at that location," said Head of Sub-Directorate I Indagsi of the Special Criminal Directorate of the Babel Police, Kompol Kurniawan Daeli in Pangkalpinang, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, December 7.

In monitoring with Bulog Bangka, data on the supply of various basic foodstuffs and other important items was obtained in a safe and sufficient condition.

"This is a periodic monitoring that we have carried out together with a number of relevant agencies in order to monitor stock developments and prices to reduce inflation rates in the regions," he said.

From field observations, the team visited two warehouse distributors and warehouses belonging to Perum Bulog located in Pangkalpinang City.

Based on the results of the review, the supply of rice in two distributor warehouses and Bulog warehouses is still quite safe, especially for the availability of rice, even his party gets data for rice currently still in the process of shipping around 2,500 tons.

"There are no obstacles so far because people's purchasing power is still quite high, especially Bulog's SPHP rice. In general, it is estimated that it is still sufficient for the needs of the people in Babylon," he said.

For cooking oil prices, he said, until now it is still relatively stable, both at the market traders and in Bulog.

He said price monitoring and stock of goods would continue to be carried out as a basis for implementing policies if supplies run low at any time.

"We will continue to carry out regular checks with relevant agencies and stakeholders so that they can safely maintain the supply of basic commodities in Babylon," he said.

From the results of this monitoring, the price of a number of basic foodstuffs is obtained at this time, including premium rice at Rp. 14,100/kilogram, medium rice at Rp. 13,100/kilogram, Bulog SPHP rice at Rp. 53,000/five kilograms, sugar at Rp. 15,700/kilogram, our cooking oil at Rp. 16,000/kilogram.
