Molested 3 Children Repeatedly, The Man In Sumberejo Finally Becomes A Suspect

BANJARNEGARA Sat Reskrim Polres Banjarnegara telah menetapkan DS (36) warga Desa Sumberjo Kecamatan Batur Kabupaten Banjarnegara, sebagai tersangka kasus pencabulan terhadap tiga anak di bawah.

Banjarnegara Police Chief AKBP Era Johny Kurniawan, through the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Resandro Handriajati said, based on the examination, that the suspect DS committed obscene acts to 3 victims, namely M (11), W (12) and N (12).

"The suspect committed the first obscene act around 2018 and finally September 6, 2023, some up to 6 times, 2 times and 1 time," Era Johny said in a written statement, Wednesday night, December 6.

He explained that the suspect DS carried out his action at the victim's house, the suspect's house and was packed near the field.

"The suspect's method is to give money to the victim so that he wants to be molested and not tell other people about the incident," he said.

According to him, this suspect is indeed targeting children, because it is considered not going to tell the story anywhere.

"The victim was lured with varying money, some of which were fifty thousand, twenty thousand, ten thousand, the main victim had a family relationship with the suspect and other victims of the perpetrator's neighbor," he said.

Based on the examination of witnesses and the confiscated evidence, continued the Police Chief, the suspect was subject to Article 82 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 76E of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection in conjunction with Law number 17 of 2016 concerning the stipulation of government regulations in lieu of Law Number 01 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning child protection into Law in conjunction with Article 65 of the Criminal Code.

"The threat is a minimum sentence of 5 years and a maximum of 15 years in prison," he concluded.
