BUKITTINGGI - The joint SAR team again managed to find 16 victims who died from the eruption of Mount Marapi, West Sumatra, Tuesday, December 5.

The bodies of 16 victims of the eruption of Mount Marapi have been put in a body bag and evacuated to Ahmad Muchar Hospital in Bukittinggi.

On the third day of the search, the joint SAR team with 200 personnel continued their search and evacuated the victims who were still at Mount Marapi.

The head of the joint SAR team, Abdul Malik, reported that based on information from the Head of the Padang Kakansar, the team managed to find 16 victims who were dead and an evacuation process had been carried out.

Currently, one person is still unknown. However, the search process was stopped due to the weather at the foot of Mount Marapi experiencing heavy rain.

Until now, the joint SAR team has succeeded in evacuating 21 victims who died since the start of the search. They have been evacuated to Ahmad Muktar Hospital in Bukittinggi.
