Bandung Police Arrest 2.1 Kg Of Shabu Dealers

The Bandung City Police, West Java, arrested a methamphetamine dealer with 2.1 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine as evidence ready for distribution in the Bandung City area. "We managed to reveal that there were quite a lot of drugs, namely approximately 2,105 grams or 2 kilograms of more than methamphetamine that we arrested on Tuesday, November 28, 2023,” said Bandung Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono in Bandung, Antara, Tuesday, December 5. He said the disclosure of cases of drug trafficking of methamphetamine was quite a large number at the Polres level. The police arrested the initials WF (28) while distributing the illicit goods in the Bandung City area. From the results of further investigations, his party revealed that there were 2.1 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine at his home. "After the perpetrator was arrested, members carried out developments and finally at the residence of the perpetrator, the police secured two packages of methamphetamine, weighing 2 kilograms," he said. Budi revealed that until now his party is still pursuing other suspects and is still developing the methamphetamine case to arrest other perpetrators on it. In addition to arresting WF, the Bandung Police also arrested dozens of dealers along with evidence of various types of drugs in the last three weeks. "So we have secured a total of approximately 2,648 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 28.72 grams of synthetic tobacco, 343 pills of limited hard drugs, eight scales and 12 cellphones of various brands," he said. Budi added, by revealing several cases, his party claimed to have saved 13,727 people from drug abuse.

"This indicates that the city of Bandung is still an attractive place for drug trafficking perpetrators, so we will not stop to uncover drug trafficking in the city of Bandung," he said.
