Pengakuan Anies Diusung Jadi Capres 2024: Uang Tidak Punya, Partai Tidak Ada

Presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan confessed his condition when he was promoted by the NasDem Party to become a presidential candidate in the 2024 General Election.

Anies emphasized that he did not ask the party to be elected as a presidential candidate. Given, Anies realized he was not a party cadre and not a qualified financial person.

"I, not someone who registered to become a presidential candidate. I was summoned, mandated to become a presidential candidate. I don't have money, there is no party," Anies said at the NasDem consolidation event with community leaders in Karawang, West Java, Monday, November 4.

Anies also felt that his status as a presidential candidate paired with Muhaimin Iskandar was a big responsibility in bringing the idea of change.

"I feel that the responsibility that is held is a big responsibility to make changes," said Anies.

On that occasion, Anies asked the public not to prohibit presidential and vice-presidential candidates from expressing promises during the 2024 election campaign period.

According to Anies, presidential and vice-presidential candidates are allowed to express their promises. The public, he continued, could accommodate the promise and collect it when elected as President and Vice President for the period 2024-2029.

"If someone brings a poster 'don't make a promise'. Oh, that's wrong with the poster. The poster should be'spread it, I'll collect it later'. That's right, no?" said Anies.

"Don't be forbidden to make promises. 'Give me your answer now, tomorrow I will collect the promise'," he continued.

On that basis, Anies asked the public to exercise their voting rights on voting day on February 14, 2024. Then, the public can collect the promise of the candidate who won the election.

"This is the campaign period, I want to invite all ladies and gentlemen to make choices. Be silent, don't vote, take responsibility for the consequences tomorrow. or make choices and collect their promises when they are elected," said Anies.
