The Trial Of The Rihana-Rihani Twin's Decision Will Be Held This Afternoon At The Tangerang District Court

TANGERANG - The follow-up trial of the iPhone buying and selling fraud case with the defendants Rihana and Rihani twins will be held at the Tangerang District Court (PN) this afternoon, Monday, December 4. This trial has an agenda for reading the verdict.

Kasie Intel Kejari Tangsel Hasbullah confirmed that the day of the trial of the defendant Rina-Rihani would be held on Monday, December 4, in the afternoon.

"Today's agenda is reading the verdict. It looks like it's the afternoon, sir," said Hasbullah when confirmed, Monday, December 4.

Hasbullah explained that this decision would be made by the Panel of Judges. Therefore, he could not determine the start of the trial.

"If the judge is ready for the verdict, maybe it will be read out today. If the time is right, I don't know yet," he said.

Previously, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) charged the twins Riana and Rihani, the defendant in the iPhone buying and selling fraud case with a sentence of 5 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion.

The twins, Riana and Rihani, are considered by the prosecutors to have been proven to have committed a criminal act intentionally and spread false news that is misleading, resulting in consumer losses in electronic transactions.

As Article 45 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 1 uu No. 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law no. 11 of 2008 concerning information on electronic transactions and alternative indictments of the three public prosecutors," said the Public Prosecutor, Mega Sari during a trial at the Tangerang District Court, Tuesday, November 21.
