AGAM - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province, noted that there were still 26 climbers who had not come down from Mount Marapi after the eruption on Sunday afternoon.

According to data from the Agam Regency BPBD, climbers who have not come down from Marapi include Wahlul Ade Putra, Novita Intan Sari, Rizki Rahmad Hidayat, Lenggo Baren, Reihani Zahra Fadli, Filhan Alfiqh Faizin, Aditya Prasetyo, Yasirli Amri, Divo Suhandra, Nurva Afitri, Ahmad Firman, and Afranda Junaidi.
Climbers Muhammad Alpikri, Irfandi Putra, Zikri Habibi, Muhammad Teguh Amanda, Muhammad Iqbal, Siska Afrina, Liarni, Frengki Candra Kusuma, Nazatra Azin Mufadhal, M. Wilky Saputra, M. Rido Kurniawan, Ilham Nanda Bintang, M. Adan, and M. Arbi Muharman are also recorded as not yet down from Marapi.
Bambang said the joint team, which includes BPBD officers, TNI, Polri, Search and Rescue Office, Indonesian Red Cross, nagari government, and sub-district government with the help of volunteers and residents are still looking for climbers who have not come down from Marapi.
"We are trying to find the whereabouts of the victims to the maximum until all of them can be found," he said.
Bambang said that a total of 54 climbers were in Marapi when the volcano erupted and 28 of them had come down from the mountain.
According to him, among the climbers who had come down from Marapi, nine people were undergoing treatment at the hospital.
"Three people are being treated at the Bukittinggi Hospital and six people are at the Padang Panjang Hospital," he said, adding that 19 other climbers had returned to their respective homes.
