Chairman Of MUI Asks Ulama To Take Prosperous Actions For The People

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Anwar Iskandar asked the ulama to act markedly in realizing a prosperous and prosperous people, as ordered by the Creator.

"Being part of something we have to do. Because the essence of prospering and prospering life is one of the essences that God has ordered us," said Anwar Iskandar when opening the MUI III National Working Conference (Mukernas) in Jakarta as reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 1.

Anwar said that Mukernas this time took the topic of solemnity or serving. Ulama essentially serve the people. Ulama are people who see people with the eyes of affection and love in various aspects.

Para ulama harus berpikir dan bertindak demi mewujudkan umat yang berkualitas, baik dari sisi kesehatan, ekonomi, pendidikan, hingga menjaga persatuan.

"From the quantity aspect, it is the majority of Muslims (in Indonesia), but not so in terms of welfare, economy, and others. This is a challenge for all of us to be resolved in the future," he said.

He hopes that the implementation of the Mukernas this time can produce a main mind that is able to produce productive policies.

"Maybe in the economic field, our people are still the object, not yet the subject. How can we try so that the condition of our people who are still not prosperous can improve their economy," he said.

Previously, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin as Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) requested that the MUI's service or service to the nation continue to be improved.

"The service of MUI must continue to be improved both to the nation and humanity. I think that is a principle," he said.

The Vice President expressed his gratitude that the unification of the people has now begun to be felt. He conveyed that the differences that occurred must be tolerated.
