SUKABUMI - The National Police Forensic Team conducted an exhumation of one of the victims of the natural gas (CNG) tube explosion on Jalan Raya Sukabumi-Bogor Cibadak Sukabumi, Lodaya Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.

According to Ali, the demolition of the tomb of the victim of the CNG explosion was also to conduct an autopsy on the victim's body to complete the investigation file of the CNG tube explosion case in Karangtengah Village, Cibadak District.

Before carrying out the exhumation, said Alu Jupri, the Sukabumi Police had obtained permission from the victim's family. Meanwhile, for one other victim of the CNG explosion on behalf of Heni who was buried in the Bojonggenteng District area, the same thing will also be done.

Ali said this exhumation was also to provide justice to the victims and their families, in addition to their main goal of fulfilling evidence or some forensic evidence.

"The results of the exhumation and autopsy, we are still waiting from the Police Forensic Team which will make it easier for us to reveal the cause of the explosion of the CNG tube when it was being transported by a truck," he added.

Ali said that investigations of witnesses were continuously carried out by investigators, ranging from truck drivers, residents around the scene, families of victims who died and survived, to the CNG supplier company.
