18 Political Parties Agree To Sign Declaration Of Peaceful Campaign For The 2024 Election

Political parties have signed a declaration of the peace election campaign at the Gakkumdu National Coordination Meeting held by the Indonesian Bawaslu at the Grand Sahid Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, November 27 (Nailin/VOI)

The eighteen political parties signed the declaration of the peace election campaign at the Gakkumdu National Coordination Meeting organized by the Indonesian Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) at the Grand Sahid Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, November 27.

The reading of the commitment was read out by the Secretary General of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), Aboe Bakar Alhabsyi as representatives of political parties who will sign the 2024 election campaign declaration.

There are four points of declaration of an orderly and law-abiding peaceful campaign for the 2024 General Election participants. One of them, does not practice money politics.

"We participants in the 2024 General Election declare ourselves committed to, one, maintaining national unity and integrity, respecting diversity and realizing a safe and orderly atmosphere during the election," said Aboe Bakar, who was attended by 17 representatives of political parties.

Political parties together with presidential and vice presidential candidates were also invited to attend the Implementation of the National Coordination Meeting of the Integrated Law Enforcement Center (Gakkumdu) throughout Indonesia as well as signing the Declaration of Peaceful, Orderly Campaigns and Obeying the Law in the 2024 General Election.
