Bastiong Port Pier Repair Budget Of IDR 10 Billion

TERNATE - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Ternate Branch, North Maluku (Malut), stated that the budget for repairing the first dock at the Bastiong Ferry Port, Ternate, spent a value of IDR 10 billion.

"For the rehabilitation or repair process, such as an accident at the dock, it is around Rp. 10 billion according to the Technical Team's report, because the repair of the dock is under the responsibility of private companies, because their ship crashed into the dock," said General Manager of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Ternate Branch, Ardian, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, November 24.

Pier satu yang berada di sisi Utara Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Bastiong di Kecamatan Ternate Selatan itu, proses pengerjaannya sudah mencapai 90 persen, dengan memiliki kapasitas tonnase barang 30 ton.

He said of course the installation of construction from the dock was in accordance with the schedule and plans that had been set and estimated that early December it could be operated.

"We hope that if there are no obstacles in the work carried out by the workers, then of course it can be resolved as soon as possible," he said.

He explained that in December 2023, two important moments will be faced, namely the implementation of Nusantara Day and Christmas and New Year's Holidays.

"This day of the Archipelago of 2023, North Maluku Province will host, which is centered in Tidore Islands City will be held on December 10-13, so that with the one dock, it can support the mobility of people who use ferry transportation services," said Ardian.

He stated, if the dock one has been completed and has been operated, then of course it can optimize services from Ternate to a number of areas in North Maluku Province and the Ternate route to Bitung, North Sulawesi.
