JAKARTA - The Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) confiscated Rp1 billion in cash from a series of officials from the Jakarta Special Regional Culture Office and four other locations.
The raid was related to the investigation of the alleged corruption case of irregularities in activities at the DKJ Provincial Culture Office, which was sourced from the DKJ Provincial Culture Service Budget for Fiscal Year 2023.
"The confiscation of Rp1 billion," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the Jakarta Prosecutor's Office, Syahroni Hasibuan to VOI, Wednesday, December 18.
The money was confiscated not from the Jakarta Special Region Culture Office office but in one of the other locations which is a residence.
However, the location in question was not clearly conveyed. So far, it is known that from the five locations that were searched by three of the residential houses in Kebon Jeruk and Matraman.
