BLITAR - Two children were found drowned in a pool of water which is usually used to bathe and wudu the congregation of the Mambaul Ulum Mosque, in the Combong neighborhood, Garum Village, Garum District, Blitar Regency, East Java, Wednesday, November 23 afternoon.

Garum Police Chief Iptu Punjung Setyo confirmed the findings of two child victims drowning in the Mosque water pool. The two victims were found at around 16.00 WIB in a bath or ablution place with a depth of about 130 cm next to the Mambaul Ulum Mosque.
"Both of them were found dead," said Punjung, Thursday, November 23.
He explained, based on the testimony of three witnesses, namely the parents and the two uncles of the victim, before being found drowned, the two children played in the courtyard of the Mambaul Ulum Mosque accompanied by their uncle Samsul Mudawari (49).
As the two played, Samsul left the two children and then went to his neighbor's house in front of the mosque to help lift the wood.
However, after helping to lift the wood, Samsul did not see the two victims playing at the location. Furthermore, the two children were searched and finally both of them were found dead drowned at the bottom of the pool.
