TANGERANG - The police finally secured RE (38), a stepmother who is suspected of molesting her 4-year-old child, in her rented house, LP Complex, Babakan, Tangerang City.

Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho confirmed the arrest of RE. It was explained that the alleged perpetrator had been arrested since yesterday, Tuesday night, November 21.

"We secured it last night," said Zain in a short message, Wednesday, November 22.

When asked further about the status of the alleged perpetrator, Zain did not answer. He only said that RE was still being investigated further.

"It's still being investigated," he said.

In line with the information received. Bowo, as the head of the local RT, also confirmed that RE was taken to the Tangerang Metro Police in front of his children and husband. Bowo said, RE when brought did not fight back.

"Last night, there was no resistance. Her husband and his son saw it. It's just that there's no resistance," explained Bowo.

Since the arrest, continued Bowo, the door to RE's rented house has always been closed. Even RE's husband and his other children were also not seen.

"Since being secured, the house has been closed. I didn't know her husband had gone or visited (regarding)," he concluded.
