Gerindra Targets Prabowo-Gibran To Reach 65 Percent Of Votes In West Java

Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the West Java Gerindra Party, Aries Marsudiyanto, targets the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM), Prabowo Subianto-GibranRakabuming Raka, to reach 65 percent of voters in West Java.

"Yes, at least 65 percent, yes. We are also optimistic, yes, because our party engine is quite strong, our volunteers are strong enough, the survey results are quite good, yes, in West Java. Hopefully it can be achieved," said Aries after the consolidation of the West Java Gerindra Party. in Jakarta reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.

Aries said that his party continues to coordinate with the entire Gerindra Party Branch Leadership Council (DPC) to win the Prabowo-Gibrandi for the 2024 presidential election.

"We have also prepared strategic plans, yes, to get to the bottom; so that the community can accept it," he added.

He has also coordinated and equalized perceptions with the chairman of the Gerindra DPC and the Regional Campaign Team (TKD) in West Java to win Prabowo-Gibran.

"We share perceptions, equalize steps, and absorb them, yes. So, at least we will achieve the target according to what we plan," explained Aries.

He is also optimistic that he can achieve the vote target in West Java, including to win the 2024 Legislative Election in West Java in about 2.5 months before the vote.

"We collaborate, yes, there is Mr. Ridwan Kamil, there is Mr. Dedi Mulyadi, Mr. Iwan (Bule). There are so many community leaders, political figures, businessmen in West Java. Many are playing up to help us. We just have to work together in the field," said Aries.

Secretary General of the Gerindra Party DPP Ahmad Muzani said Aries Marsudiyanto would be assisted by the Chairman of the West Java Gerindra Party DPD Taufik Hidayat to achieve the 2024 presidential and legislative election targets in the area.

Muzani is optimistic that the Prabowo-Gibran candidate pair and Gerindra Party will win in West Java considering that in the previous two elections, Prabowo won in that area.

"In 2014 (Pemilu), Pak Prabowo won 59.6 percent. In (Pemilu) 2019, Pak Prabowo won 59.9 percent. Therefore, we pay great attention and attention to this province (West Java) so that the victory of Pak Prabowo that we have won in the last presidential election can be added," said Ahmad Muzani.
