SOLO - Bengawan Solo River Basin Center (BBWS) is ready to face the rainy season by alerting personnel and completing supporting equipment.

"This is related to the preparedness of the Bengawan Solo river area. We are synergizing with the TNI/Polri, relevant agencies, academics to jointly face disasters with mitigation, report, emergency response, and coordinate for the future permanent handling," said Head of BBWS Bengawan Solo, Maryadi Utama after the Bengawan Solo River disaster preparedness meeting in 2023-2024 at the BBWSBS Pabelan Building yard, Sukoharjo Regency, reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 20.

There are 1,700 personnel on standby which are divided into the upstream, central and downstream parts.
