Police Reveal 5 Drug Cases In Kuningan, Mode Of Tempel System And COD

The police uncovered five cases of drug abuse of methamphetamine and the circulation of limited hard drugs without a distribution permit in Kuningan Regency, West Java during October 2023. Kuningan Police Chief AKBP Willy Andrian explained that from this case officers had arrested two suspects of misuse of methamphetamine with the initials M (25) and Y (35) with a total of 51 packages of methamphetamine weighing 41.15 grams.

Then, for the case of drug trafficking, his party arrested three perpetrators with the initials R (25), G (23) and M (24) with evidence confiscated in the form of 362 tramadol pills and 302 trihexyphenidyl pills.

"Evidence can be seen. This is the result of a disclosure operation during October consisting of 51 packages of methamphetamine weighing 41.15 grams and 668 pills without a distribution permit," Willy said in Kuningan, West Java, Tuesday, November 14, which was confiscated by Antara.

Willy explained that the perpetrators carried out their actions using the old mode, namely using a pasty system and meeting in person or cash on delivery (COD) to obtain these illicit goods.

His party ensures that the operation to disclose cases related to narcotics abuse will continue to be carried out, in order to keep the younger generation in Kuningan from using these drugs.

Meanwhile, the Head of Narcotics at the Kuningan Police, AKP Udiyanto, said that the case of drug abuse of methamphetamine was successfully uncovered after officers arrested suspect Y at his parents' residence in Sindangagung District, Kuningan.

From the suspect's hands, he said, the Kuningan Police found 50 packages of methamphetamine to be circulated in the Kuningan Regency area.

"We also secured a set of methamphetamine suction devices at his house. As a result of the suspect's statement, 42 packages of methamphetamine have been circulated. But 20 packages have been confiscated because the rest have been circulated," he said.

Furthermore, the officers continued the disclosure operation by arresting suspect M in the Kuningan Village area and managed to confiscate a package of methamphetamine to be circulated later.

"We carried out further investigations of the two cases," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the case of drug abuse, Udiyanto said that the three perpetrators R, G and M were arrested at different locations. The suspects plan to distribute the drugs in the Kuningan Regency area.

From the results of the arrest, his party confiscated 668 pills of hard drugs without a distribution permit. "The perpetrator got them with COD and will be circulated in the Kuningan area," he said.

He added that two suspects in the narcotics case type methamphetamine were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 112 paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, with a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

Then, for the three perpetrators of the drug case, Article 435 and/or 436 paragraph (1) and (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health with a maximum prison sentence of 10 years in prison.
