Blusukan With Wife, Kaesang Expects Traditional 'Pajak' Market In Medan To Be More Modern

The Chairperson of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep hopes that traditional markets - commonly called Taxes in Medan - such as the Sei Kambing Market, Medan City, North Sumatra will become even more modern in conditions.

"However, it must be repaired much more modern, it is better but it must be much better," said Kaesangusai blusukan at Sei Kambing Market as reported by ANTARA, Monday, November 13.

Blusukan at Sei Kambing Market is a series of Kaesang political safaris with PSI DPP entourage in Medan.

Kaesang, who was accompanied by Erina Gudono's wife, greeted a number of traders and residents who were shopping at the Sei Kambing Market.

The two married couples bought a number of merchandise owned by traders, such as fingerprint coffee, hair flips, and even wholesaled oranges, and markisa.

When asked what was the reason for visiting traditional markets, the youngest son of President Joko Widodo said he wanted to drink orange ice in Medan.

"Last night I made orange ice with Mbak Iyang (Kahiyang-ed), so I want to buy it," said Kaesang.

Kaesang's arrival at the market was greeted enthusiastically by residents and traders, some called for a stopover and shopping at his stall.

Several residents and traders also took selfies together.

Some residents also misidentified Kaesang by Gibran's call. In addition to the Sei Kambing Market, Kaesang also blusukan at the Padang Panjus Market in Medan.

Kaesang conducted a political safari in Medan 12-13 November 2023, in addition to blusukan in the market, as well as consolidating cadres, to meeting with various communities, influencers and content creators, interfaith and ethnic groups in Medan.

The purpose of the visit was to win PSI and the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming in the 2024 General Election.

Since serving as PSI General Chair, Kaesang has been aggressively carrying out political safaris to a number of regions in the country.

Before going to Medan, Kaesang also carried out political safaris in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Manado, North Sulawesi, Bandung, West Java, several areas in Java and Jakarta.
