JAKARTA - The Johar Baru Police have again arrested 19 teenage boys who were involved in a brawl that occurred in the Gang T area, Kampung Rawa Village, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta on Monday, November 13.
"We have arrested 19 people related to a brawl in Rawa Village. These are all school-age children," said Deputy Head of Johar Baru Police, AKP Sarjana to VOI.
The teenagers who are secured will later be trained by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police. The perpetrators were not given legal action because they were still in school.
"It is possible that in the future we will still return it to his parents," he said.
Meanwhile, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Johar Baru Police is also still hunting for the main perpetrators of the brawl. A total of 19 teenagers who were arrested were only examined and their statements were extracted to hunt down the main perpetrators.
"We together with the three pillars, God willing, will be able to foster these children in the future before we take the legal steps we apply," he said.
