MenPANRB Guarantees CASN 2023 Transparency Test Without Intervention

Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas guarantees that the 2023 state civil apparatus candidate test will run transparently without intervention from any party.

"There is no story of being deposited. There is no move using insider strength. Everyone uses CAT, the value goes straight out, live score. Like today's test at BKN, parents and the public are busy seeing live scores of the test results on the screen provided in the BKN canteen," said Anas as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 9.

This is because the selection process, which is attended by around 1.85 million applicants who meet the requirements using the Computer Assisted Test (CAT), is carried out in stages according to schedule.

For this reason, he stressed to test participants to have confidence in their personal abilities. Anas also warned against believing in people or institutions claiming to help pass the CASN selection.

To note, at the BKN office, the CASN selection of the Attorney General's Office was carried out today.

Anas checked with Plt. Head of BKN Haryomo Dwi Putranto and Deputy Attorney General for Development Bambang S. Rukmono. Anas seemed to be discussing with a number of test participants.

"Where did you graduate? Many have fresh graduates, right?" asked Anas, who was then answered by a number of participants.

Plt. Head of BKN Haryomo Dwi Putranto explained that the location for the CASN 2023 selection reached 365 places, including BKN, health polytechnics in a number of cities, independent locations for agencies, and abroad.

There was an increase in the number of location points compared to last year's around 105 points.

"The addition of location points is expected to make participants not too far away in accessing test sites," said Haryomo.

He explained a number of things that BKN had done to improve system security, including collaborating with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).

"For the provision of data communication networks, BKN cooperates with the Ministry of Communication and Information to add bandwidth and add backup links for the smooth implementation of the CAT test," he said.
