The Prosecutor's Office Names The 4th Suspect In The Corruption Fund For The Central Maluku Education And Culture BOSS, Losing The State Rp3.9 Billion

MALUKU - The Prosecutor's Office has named the fourth suspect in the alleged corruption case of school operational assistance funds or BOS at the Central Maluku Education and Culture Office (Dikbud).

The suspect with the initials FLS is a former BOS fund operator in Central Maluku for the 2020-2022 fiscal year.

"The Central Maluku Kejari investigating team led by Kasi Pidsus Junita Sahetapy has found sufficient evidence so that he has made additional suspects in the case," said Head of Penkum and Public Relations of the Maluku Attorney General's Office, Wahyudi Kareba in Ambon, Maluku, Thursday 9 November, confiscated by Antara.

Wahyudi explained that the other three suspects had the status of defendants undergoing trial at the Ambon Corruption Court.

The three defendants are Askam Tuasikal as the former Head of Dikbud Central Maluku, Oktovianus Noya as Head of Culture Disdikbud and former BOS fund manager, and Munaidi Yasin as Commissioner of PT Ambon Jaya Perdana as provider.

Wahyudi said that the FLS had now been detained by the prosecutor after being named a suspect.

The suspect was charged with violating Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 paragraph (1), (2), and (3) of Law Number 20 of 2021 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code as a primary indictment.

Meanwhile, the subsidiary charges of Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 paragraphs (1), (2), and (3) of Law Number 20 of 2021 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the eradication of corruption in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 of the Criminal Code.

As a result of the actions of the FSL suspect together with three other defendants (in separate prosecutions) caused state financial losses of Rp3.9 billion based on the calculation of state losses by the Maluku Provincial Representative BPKP.
