Jusuf Kalla Urges America To Stop Support For Israel Bombardir Gaza Palestine

JAKARTA - The 10th and 12th Vice Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla (JK) urged the United States (US) to stop their support for Israel, which is still attacking Palestinians.

This was revealed by JK in an oration from the stage in front of the mass of the Palestinian defense action that adequate the National Monument area.

"Let's call on America to stop its support for Israel and Israel will be aware of the humanity of all of us," said JK, Sunday, November 5.

To all the masses of the Palestinian defense action, JK asked to pray for the people in Palestine to fight for and realize their independence.

"We are all angry with what we see, what we have witnessed. Therefore, let us all unite, pray least, help and fight for independence and stop all crimes that destroy and massive killings in Palestine," explained JK.

After the action, JK explained that the military attack on Gaza by Israel could stop if there was pressure from international nations. Thus, JK asked western countries to build a unity dialogue so that violence could be stopped.

"This must influence the west state, the influence of Islamic and American countries must work with it, then we can control it all. Israel like that never wants to hear people's voices, except America. Yes, America must work together," he explained.

On the one hand, JK also asked President Joko Widodo to seek humanitarian diplomacy to other countries, in addition to sending aid to Palestine.

"We have to carry out this massive humanitarian diplomacy," added JK.

In this mass action, ministers, state officials, political elites, and Indonesian celebrities also spilled over at Monas defending Palestine from Israel's indiscriminate aggression.

Among them are those who took part in this Palestinian defense action, including Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy, Deputy Chairperson of the MPR Jazilul Fawaid, Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque Nasaruddin Umar, to former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.
