Golkar Calls Nusron Wahid As Secretary Of TKN Prabowo-Gibran

JAKARTA - The composition of the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming National Campaign Team (TKN) pair is rumored to be announced today, Thursday, November 2. It is known that currently the structure of TKN Prabowo-Gibran is only filled by the third position, namely the former Deputy Minister of BUMN, Rosan Roeslani.

Chairman of the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the Golkar Party, Maman Abdurahman, said his party had proposed several names to be included in the ranks of the Prabowo-Gibran TKN. One of them is the member of the presidential election winning body (Bappilpres) of the Golkar Party, Nusron Wahid.

"If TKN itself is the chairman, Mas Rosan and we have been appointed to later at the TKN, Mr. Nusron Wahid. Indeed, there are several names that have also been proposed," Maman told reporters, quoted on Thursday, November 2. However, Maman did not reveal who the names proposed by Golkar were to be included in the TKN structure. Maman only said that Nusron Wahid would occupy a strategic position as secretary of TKN Prabowo-Gibran who would later assist Rosan Roeslani's work as chairman.

"Later, Mas Nusron Wahid will become the secretary of the TKN," he said. Maman added, Bappilu Golkar Party is not only focused on winning the presidential election. But also has a target in winning the Golkar Party in the Legislative Election (Pileg).

"If there (TKN) coordinates supervision and prepares for the victory of Pak Prabowo and Gibran, it means that the target there is only in the context of winning the presidential election," he explained.

"In Bappilu, we have two targets, apart from winning the presidential election we also have to win the legislative election. So that may be the difference," added Maman.
