KPU Chair: Production Of Phase I Logistics For The 2024 Election I Is 57 Percent

Chairman of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Hasyim Asy'ari said that phase I logistics production for the 2024 Simultaneous Elections has reached 57 percent.

"The first stage (production) is logistics for several types of ballot boxes, ballot booths, ink ink, seal; it is above 57 percent per day at the production level," said Hasyim as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, October 30.

As much as 30 percent of the logistics that have been produced have been distributed or sent to various regions in Indonesia.

"And those that have been received by regency and city KPU friends are already above 25 percent," he added.

Meanwhile, the List of Permanent Candidates (DCT) for candidates for members of the DPR, DPRD, and DPD will be set on November 3, 2023; while the ballot letter for legislative candidates will begin to be printed on November 10, 2023.

"The DCT determination is planned for November 3, 2023 and then the announcement is on November 4, 2023 for DCT members of the DPR RI, DPD, provincial DPRD and district or city DPRD," said Hasyim.

The KPU has received registration for three presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election, namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD, and Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The Anies-Muhaimin pair was promoted by the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), and the Ummah Party.

The pair Ganjar-Mahfuddiusung by the DPI Perjuangan, the United Development Party (PPP), the Perindo Party, and the People's Conscience Party (Hanura).

Meanwhile, the Prabowo-Gibrandiusung pair by the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Democratic Party, the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Gelora Party, the Garuda Party, and the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), as well as the People's Fair and Prosperous Party (Prima) who did not qualify to participate in the 2024 General Election.

The KPU has set the election campaign period from November 28, 2023 to February 10, 2024, while the vote is scheduled for February 14, 2024.
