Terrorism observer Al Chaidar said the explosion that occurred on Jalan Tangkuban Boat number 02, RT 07, Guntur, Setiabudi, South Jakarta was an active bomb that came from next to his house on Jalan Tangkuban Boat number 01. According to him, the bomb was the remainder of the house which is the group of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM).

Chaidir also explained that the homemade bomb that was suspected to be the remains of the GAM group was hidden by the perpetrators who were not known to the police.

"Because the perpetrator hid the evidence so that it would not be found by the police or investigators," said Al Chaidar in a short message, Tuesday, October 24.

In detail about the type of homemade bomb, Al Chaidar said that the bomb that exploded some time ago was a paralon bomb with a low explosive power.

Regarding the characteristics in the form of a paralon with a length of 50 centimeters, there is a cable on the object.

It's a Paralon bomb. A low explosive bomb. (The characteristics are) a 5-inch paralon, 50 centimeters long. There is a lower upper paralon cap. There is a cable. (For the type of fire) Low is explosive from 1 to 5 meters. If it's high explosive, 10 to 50 meters," he said.

AI also explained that the type of bomb would not explode, if there was no pressure or impact. Therefore, according to him, the bomb still lasted until October 18, 2023, before it was finally found by the victim, A (49).

If the bomb explodes, said Al Chaidar, it will only have an impact on 1-5 meters. However, the sound of the explosion can be heard tens of meters.
