JAKARTA - There are a number of short names for the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD pair after the duet was officially announced yesterday. In fact, Ganjar is still looking for a suitable acronym.

Initially, the question of the abbreviation of the name of the presidential and vice presidential candidate was asked Mahfud. However, Mahfud considered it better left to the National Winning Team (TP) Ganjar President.

"Oh, let the TPN team prepare," said Mahfud in the KPU building area, Central Jakarta, Thursday, October 19.

Ganjar answered the question by inviting the public to look for a short name suitable for the Ganjar-Mahfud pair.

According to him, it is necessary to have more acronyms of Ganjar-Mahfud than he has known so far.

"We will invite the public, what kind of match will it be. There have been several abbreviations, who knows here we will receive it with pleasure," he said.

The Ganjar-Mahfud MD duo started the registration procession with the KPU as a candidate pair for presidential and vice-presidential candidates by visiting the Jakarta Proclamation Monument this morning.

Both of them delivered speeches in front of sympathizers, volunteers, supporting party cadres, and the National Team for Winning Ganjar Presiden (GP) at the Jakarta Proclamation Monument.

The pair of presidential and vice presidential candidates promoted by PDIP, PPP, Perindo and Hanura arrived at the Jakarta KPU building area at around 12.20 WIB, Thursday 19 October.

The sea of sympathizers and volunteers have already filled the Jakarta KPU Building area to welcome and enliven the registration of the champion duo to advance in the 2024 presidential election.
