Megawati: Ganjar-Mahfud Commitment To Accelerate Prosperity And Strengthen Justice

PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri said the duo Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD was committed to accelerating the welfare of the community and MAXIMally trying to keep the law upright.

This was conveyed by Megawati in her speech when delivering the presidential and vice presidential candidates Ganjar-Mahfud MD to register with the KPU, Thursday, October 19.

"We certainly ask for the prayers of all Indonesian people for the pair Pak Ganjar and Pak Mahfud MD. Both of them raise new hopes for the Indonesian people. Both will accelerate the prosperity and superior power of the nation. Both have committed one commitment in upholding justice," said Megawati at the KPU Building. Central Jakarta, Thursday 19 October.

On the same occasion, Megawati said that she was given the task of President Joko Widodo. As Chair of the Steering Committee of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), Megawati was asked by Jokowi to popularize Salam Pancasila.

Megawati also asked permission from the Chairman of the KPU, Hasyim Asy'ari for the greeting.

"Mr. Chairman of the KPU, before I give a speech, I beg you with great respect because coincidentally I was assigned by the president as the chairman of the Pancasila ideological development board, I was asked to popularize a greeting, his name is Pancasila greetings," Megawati said before starting her speech.

"So later when I raise my hand like this (paling), mention the greetings of Pancasila. Actually, I have to stand up but please just sit down," said Megawati.
