Overstaying Due To Accident, Russian Caucasian Woman Was 'expelled' From Bali

BADUNG Bali immigration officers deported a female Russian citizen with the initials NK (50) because of the overstay.

Head of the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim), Babay Baenullah, said the foreigner violated Article 78 Paragraph (3) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration.

"After several days of living in the Denpasar Rudenim and all administrations of repatriation have been ready, so deportation of the person concerned is carried out," said Babay, Thursday, October 5.

This foreigner initially came to Bali with his friend for a vacation in mid-2016. After that NK came back in mid-2017.

But this foreigner had an accident so he had to be treated for several months at the Bali hospital. At that time, this foreigner did not report to Immigration.

"But two months later, the friend concerned suggested reporting to the Immigration Office, because he was already overwhelmed if he had to accommodate his colleague who also had diabetes, where the matter of food needed special attention," said Babay.

From there, this Russian foreigner reported to Immigration. This foreigner was secured in the immigration detention room of the Class I Immigration Office Special for TPI Ngurah Rai on September 25.

Furthermore, the foreigner was deported through Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Thursday (5/10) at 10.10 WITA with the final destination of Moscow, Russia.
