Ganjar Pranowo Leaves For Surabaya, Hasto Kristiyanto: Meets Special And Special People

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto confirmed Ganjar Pranowo to Surabaya, East Java, Saturday night, September 30.

Hasto said that the PDIP presidential candidate was said to not only meet the public, but also special and special people.

"Yes, last night (Ganjar, ed) went to Surabaya. About who did you meet? Met the people, and met special and special people," Hasto told reporters at JIExpo Kemayoran, Sunday, October 1.

Hasto did not specify who the special person was. Instead, he said that when he went to Surabaya, Ganjar had time to enjoy fried ducks.

Meanwhile, when asked about the name of Ganjar's companion vice presidential candidate, Hasto only smiled. He did not make any further statements.

It is known, there are two names that could be paired with Ganjar at this time. They are the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa and the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD.

Previously reported, Khofifah and Mahfud MD were considered as vice presidential candidates for Ganjar Pranowo. Both are considered to have a mass base in East Java.

"Yes, whatever, Mr. Mahfud and Mbak Khofifah are from East Java, right. So they do have their respective mass niches," said PDIP DPP chairman Puan Maharani to reporters at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Saturday, September 30.
