Health Workers In Bengkulu Demo Demand TPP May-August To Be Disbursed Immediately

BENGKULU - Dozens of health workers at the Bengkulu City Health Center visited the local Health Office to demand that additional employee income (TPP) be disbursed immediately.

Head of the Service Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Bentiling Health Center, Acup Zainal, said that the TPP for health workers (nakes) had not been paid by the government from May to August 2023.

"We have carried out our obligations so we demand that rights that have not yet been paid," he said at the Bengkulu City Health Office as reported by ANTARA, Friday, September 22.

He said that until now it has not been explained when the TPP was disbursed by the government so that health workers ask for clarity at the Bengkulu City Health Office.

Acting Bengkulu City Health Office Joni Haryadi Thabrani explained that the TPP for health workers had not been paid because of administrative errors from the Bengkulu City Health Office.

According to him, the allocation of funds for the TPP has been budgeted by the Bengkulu City Government.

"We admit that there were mistakes from us regarding the demands of the health workers, but we make sure that the TPP for health workers that have not been disbursed will be liquided as soon as possible because the budget is difficult to exist," said Joni.

The Health Office requested that health workers who work in health facilities in this area be patient because their rights will be paid immediately after the administration is complete and ask for public services not to be disturbed.

"In the near future, the TPP budget will soon be disbursed into the accounts of each health worker," he said.
