There Are Many Issues Of Slapping The Deputy Minister, Prabowo Asks The Spreader Of Slander To Stop

JAKARTA - Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto asked all parties to stop spreading hoaxes or fake news and slander ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres). He invited all parties to compete to create the best ideas for the community.

This was conveyed by Spokesperson Prabowo Subianto, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak in response to the issue of squeezing the deputy minister (wamen) by the General Chair of the Gerindra Party. He also did not want to speculate whether the rumors circulating were aimed at tackling Prabowo in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"Pak Prabowo wants, yes (in the future, red) the competition has ideas, competition ideas, and stop spreading slander and all kinds of things," Dahnil told reporters at the Ministry of Defense Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, September 20.

Meanwhile, regarding the news of the spread, Prabowo, said Dahnil, would not take legal action. The former Danjen Kopassus has even ordered Gerindra Party cadres to do the same.

"The party has indeed been ordered by Pak Prabowo not to take extraordinary steps, to take the steps that were earlier," he said.

"Keep fighting slander, keep fighting the hoax happily, by conveying kindness again," continued Dahnil.

Previously, Twitter or X social media users uploaded the issue of Prabowo's attack on a deputy minister. Although he did not clearly mention names, this allegation led to the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party because this figure was referred to as a minister who was a presidential candidate (candidate).

Initially, the issue arose because of the crowd in a group conversation. According to the netizen, a group member asked about the issue of a minister strangling and slapping one of the deputy ministers before the meeting.

Another minister is said to have learned about this incident and intervened between the two. Not only slapping, this minister is also said to be strangling.

Still a circulating issue, this incident started because the minister was angry that there was work that was not assisted by other ministers. However, because those who would be spoken to did not come, this minister vented his anger on the deputy ministers who were present.
