Gerindra Forgets The 'General Kardus' Satire That Was Once Appointed To Prabowo

JAKARTA - The Democratic Party has officially stated its support for Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. Receiving Democratic support, Gerindra seemed to have forgotten the 'General Kardus' innuendo that had been addressed to the former Kopassus Danjen. Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Gerindra Party, Budisatrio Djiwandono, assessed that his party had no problem with the statement by the Head of Bappilu Democrats, Andi Arief about 'General Kardus' which had been busy several years ago. According to him, Prabowo and Andi Arief's relationship is still well established.

"I think the relationship between Pak Prabowo, Mr. Andi Arief, friends of the Democratic Party and the Gerindra Party is like a brother, there is nothing we think about. We are excited to unite, to realize prosperity for the people," Budi told reporters, in Hambalang, Sunday, September 17, evening. It is known that the chairman of the Democratic High Council Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and the Democrat Ketum Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) visited Prabowo's residence at the Garuda Yaksa Hambalang Padepokan, Bogor, West Java, Sunday afternoon.
