"The business rate is going well, where in the first semester of 2023 recorded good performance, the total number of passengers served at the port was 23.1 million passengers and 4.38 million vehicles and 867.856 tons of goods. Total vehicle production in the first semester of 2023 increased by 6 percent when compared to the same period the previous year," said Ira through a statement received by Antara in Jakarta, Sunday, September 17.

In the January-June 2023 period, ASDP posted consolidated revenues of IDR 2.36 trillion, an increase of 16 percent when compared to the same period the previous year and a profit of IDR 311 billion.

Furthermore, he revealed that management continues to strive to maintain post-COVID-19 business stability by efficiency and prioritizing programs that bring in profit. From internal, namely improving operations and improving the business process which is more effective and efficient.

In addition, said Ira, the digitization of services carried out by ASDP is able to increase the production of service users. According to him, there are three management achievements that ASDP has gone through in the past four years.

First, the development of infrastructure that further prioritizes customer convenience. This can be seen from the development of Merak and Bakauheni ports, where service users at the executive terminal are more comfortable with the access bridge connecting the executive and regular terminals.

"Second, ASDP continues to accelerate online ticketing in all service branches. If currently Ferizy's online ticketing (application) service only applies in four main ports, namely Merak, Bakauheni, Ketapang, and Gilimanuk, management continues to expand digitalization of online tickets based on the trip.ferizy.com website which is considered very important to ensure smooth service and accuracy of manifest data," said Ira.
