Police Raid Illegal Solar Shelter Warehouse In North Sumatra

The National Police Criminal Investigation Team together with the North Sumatra Police Criminal Investigation Directorate raided an illegal diesel storage warehouse (BBM) subsidized on Jalan KL Yos Sudarso, Km 15, Martubung Village, Medan Labuhan District, Medan City, North Sumatra.

"In the raid, we arrested 11 people. From the results of the investigation, investigators have named four suspects," said Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation at the North Sumatra Police AKBP Deni Kurniawan as reported by ANTARA, Monday, September 4.

He revealed that the four people who were named as suspects, YP, APH, CHS and K. Later, they are planned to be taken to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police for further investigation.

"Taken to Jakarta for deepening," he said.

During the raid, officers also confiscated evidence in the form of 18 small tanks containing diesel, 12 empty small tanks, two pump machines and a hose.

Then, the box truck BK 8065 MO, a box car BK 8941 CM containing a modified tank containing diesel, a box car BK 8620 DK containing a small tank.

"For now, all evidence has been secured at the North Sumatra Police Headquarters," he said.

Sub-Directorate I/Indag of the Directorate (Dit) of Criminal Investigation of the North Sumatra Police uncovered an illegal diesel fuel tanker (BBM) at a Cokro Restaurant, Serdang Bedagai (Sergai) Regency, North Sumatra.

"We caught the urinary tank truck on Thursday (24/8) near the Snake River bridge," he said.

Wadir Reskrimsus added that from the disclosure, the authorities named two suspects, namely ERP as a tanker truck driver or seller of fuel and FKA as a fuel collector/buyer.

The two suspects were caught in a subsidized diesel sale and purchase transaction with the "mind" mode in front of a Jalinsum Medan-Sergai restaurant, Pasiran neighborhood, Simpang Tiga Pekan Village, Perbaungan District, Sergai Regency.

"Both of them were arrested while filling fuel from tank cars to jerry cans," said Deni.
