DENPASAR - Bali Governor Wayan Koster and Deputy Governor Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati or Cok Ace ended their term as Governor and Deputy Governor of Bali for the 2018-2023 period on Tuesday (5/9) tomorrow.

Koster admitted that he would rest completely in his hometown in Sembiran Village, Buleleng Regency, Bali. After that Koster will focus on managing the legislative elections and the 2024 presidential election because he is the Chair of the Bali PDIP DPD.

"Number one, I want to take a total break first. Because for five years I have a sleep deficit, I lack sleep. So I want to rest for a total of two weeks first. Then still as chairman of the party, so take care of the legislative elections and the 2024 presidential election in February, I have to step on the gas," said Koster at the Bali DPRD office, Denpasar, Monday, September 4.

Koster spoke of the impression that during his tenure as Governor of Bali, namely policies to maintain Balinese customs and culture, and build an ecosystem, a clean environment.

"The development of strategic facilities and infrastructure as well as increasing the use of local Balinese products. What we must especially appreciate is that the Bali Provincial Law can be issued. And the direction of Bali's development is 100 years," he added.

Koster also advised the new Acting Governor to carry out his decided duties.

"Of course what has been decided by the 2023 to December program and the 2024 program which has been stated in the general policy of the KUA budget (General Policy on Budget and PPAS

"Temporary Budget Ceiling Priority)," he said.

"And the 2023 APBD changes and the parent company, in order to implement it, including policies such as the use of local products, must be further encouraged," he said.
