JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is planned to open the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Forum (AIPF) directly, which will be held in Jakarta on September 5-6, 2023, as the flagship event of the 43rd ASEAN Summit.

AIPF consists of panel discussions and forumone-on-one business matching as discussion forums between regulators and the private sector, to ensure that delivery is possible from documents generated at the ASEAN Summit.

Various discussions of panel and show will present industry leaders, experts from the government, international financial bodies, international organizations, as well as world-class companies from ASEAN and partners in the Indo-Pacific region. Project displays and business matching meetings complement a series of AIPF events.

Eight SOEs together with the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Standard Chartered, Google, Sun Cable, BRitish Chamber of Commerce, were actively involved in the AIPF series of events. The eight SOEs (state-owned enterprises) in question are BRI, Pertamina, PLN, Bank Mandiri, BNI, MIND ID, Telkom Indonesia, and Injourney. A number of leaders of organizations and companies will also be resource persons and panelists, including those from the World Economic Forum, ASEAN-BAC and Kadin, Maybank, Airbus, Ampl Medical, Forest Carbon Microsoft, and Business Council Canada.
