Police Unload Carnival Participants Sound System At Blitar

Carnval participants with sound system exceeded the agreement in Blitar Regency, East Java/ANTARA/Ho-social media

BLITAR - Blitar City Police, East Java, dismantled the sound system of carnival participants in Ponggok District, Blitar Regency, for violating the provisions by exceeding the subwoofer.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Blitar City Police, Iptu Punjung Setyo, said that the police already had an agreement with all muspika and the carnival committee not to carry a sound system that exceeded the subwoofer. During the activity, it turned out to be more.

"His activities in the Pillot. The chronology has been agreed upon by the muspika for a maximum of four subwoofers, but there is one participant who brought a truck containing a sound system of eight subwoofers," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 28.

Iptu Punjung said the carnival was held in Karangbendo Village, Ponggok District, Blitar Regency, on Sunday (27/8) which was attended by residents and sound system owners.

With the incident of residents who brought the subwoofer aside from the mutual agreement, the police and the committee gave directions to the sound system owner so that they finally agreed to dismantle the sound system to reduce the number of subwoofers. This is in accordance with the initial agreement, so that activities can continue in an orderly manner.

After complying with the appeal and reducing the number of subwoofers finally the sound system on the truck was dismantled and other participants could continue the carnival around the area.

"There have been four subwoofers, so the carnival runs smoothly again," he said.

Punjung said the Blitar City Police had also given an appeal to the public not to celebrate the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia by using an oversound system and a battle sound.

This is done to maintain conduciveness in the jurisdiction of the Blitar City Police.

The police gave permission to commemorate the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia for ceremonial activities, carnivals and so on. However, activities that use a large sound system are suspended for permits.

This activity, in addition to disrupting public security and order (kambtibmas) can also cause casualties, damage to objects that trigger disputes between communities.

The decrease in sound systems with subwoofers exceeds that these provisions are also viral on social media. The police also appealed to participants to comply with the applicable rules.
