President Jokowi conveyed Indonesia's initiative to form a bilateral investment agreement (BIT) between the two countries.

"I also welcome the plan to form BIT and assign the relevant ministers to immediately complete this agreement," he said.

In the health development sector, Jokowi agreed on a cooperation in Mozambique's health security through the procurement of vaccines, medicines, and medical devices.

"And (I) ask for the support of Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi for the Indonesian vaccine registration process," he said.

President Jokowi is committed to strengthening development cooperation with Africa through a grand plan in the next five years in the health, food and energy sectors, as well as other sectors of Mozambique's interest.

During the meeting, President Jokowi and President Filipe Nyusi signed a number of cooperation documents, in the form of a memorandum of understanding in the control of biological drugs and products, as well as a bilateral cooperation letter in the defense sector.
