Nude Photo Case, Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 Finalist Lawyer Asks Police To Check CCTV At TKP

JAKARTA - The attorney for the finalist Miss Universe Indonesia 2023, Mellisa Anggrainim, asked the police to thoroughly investigate the alleged abuse case of her client. The lawyer also asked the police to check CCTV at the crime scene (TKP).

"We hope, we pray, the police will work quickly, so this does not drag on. Of course (ask the police to comb CCTV)," Mellisa said when confirmed, Tuesday, August 8.

Melisa also hopes that the police will move quickly to handle her client's case. The goal is to prevent the reported person from eliminating evidence that makes it difficult to investigate.

"Don't let these parties lose evidence, make playing victims and so on that's what we're worried about," he said

As previously reported, the Miss Universe Indonesia 2023 Finalist, NL, reported PT Capella Swastika Karya, who is known to have a Miss Universe license in Indonesia.

The report on the alleged sexual harassment was submitted to the Polda Metro Jaya on Monday, August 7.

"We have received reports related to allegations of sexual harassment that violates the Law on the Crime of Sexual Violence experienced by our younger siblings. They have a finalist in an extraordinary beauty competition event in Indonesia called MUID," said Melissa Anggraeni, Monday, August 7.

Body checking itself is commonplace in beauty events, but Melissa has a problem with how MUID holds body checks which are considered to have been carried out without any clear procedures.

"The incident occurred on August 1, 2023, two days before the Grand Final. Even the PD (Provincial Director) was not notified of any body checking," said Melissa.
