Supriyanto said that the anarchist action in the form of throwing trains was very dangerous. In addition to being able to damage train facilities, the throwing can also injure the officers and passengers in it. "KAI hopes that the public will not throw the train at any reason. Even if it's just for fun, the impact will be very dangerous for train travel and the people on the train. It could be that the one on the train is our family," he said. Supriyanto also added that criminal penalties for throwing trains have also been regulated in the Criminal Code (KUHP) Chapter VII concerning Crimes that endanger Public Security for People or Goods Article 194 paragraph 1, which states that anyone who deliberately creates harm to public traffic, which is driven by steam or other engine power on train or tram roads, is threatened with a maximum imprisonment of 15 years. Still in the same article in paragraph 2 it is stated that if the act results in the death toll, the guilty will be punished with life imprisonment or imprisonment for a certain period of up to 20 years. He added that the ban on throwing trains has also been regulated in Law Number 23 of 2007 concerning Railways. Article 180 states that everyone is prohibited from eliminating, damaging, or committing acts that result in damage and/or malfunctioning of railway infrastructure and facilities. To anticipate the throwing of trains and other actions that could endanger train travel, the Police are also increasingly conducting intensive patrols along the railway line and conducting socialization to people near the train line.
